Elderlands is currently in a closed testing session. However, we approve new player accounts every few days. If you’d like to create a testing account you can go to the
Apply for Closed Testing page and fill out the form. Be sure to fill out all fields in the form so your application can be taken seriously. Forms that are not filled out properly will be rejected.
You can download a copy of the game launcher from the
Downloads page. The game launcher automatically updates all game data and executable files every time you run it.
Once you have downloaded the game you simply run the Elderlands.msi file. This file will install Elderlands onto your computer and place a shortcut to the game on your Desktop.
Warning for Vista Users: If you do not have administrative access to your computer you do not want to install Elderlands under the “Program Files” sub folder on your computer.
Having Trouble? If you are having trouble installing the Elderlands.msi file then you may want to download the Elderlands.zip file which allows you to bypass the .msi installation process.
To run Elderlands simply run the Elderlands.exe file. The launcher will check for game update and automatically download them. Once the download process is complete the game will launch. You can log in by entering your Account Name and Password. If you have any problems with this process please go to the
Elderlands Help Desk and fill out the form. Be sure to provide either your email address or your account name so the support staff can quickly resolve your problems.
Before you can enter the game world you must create a character. In this current testing session there are only a small set of predefined character icons. These are simply visual icons at the moment and have no special abilities or attributes as of now. You must enter a unique name for your character.
